SHAPE FILES

The 3.14 software release for the Legacy 6000 allows for the generation of shape

les.ShapelesareusefultoolsasmanyofTeeJet’scustomersusethirdparty

GIS software to plot, store, and analyze data collected by TeeJet products. To re-

maincompatible,3.14softwarenowallowsforthegenerationofshapelesinthe

standard formats of .SHP, .SHX, .DBF, and .PRJ.

Toenableshapelegeneration,selecttheSystem Setup softkey followed by the

Console Setup softkey. Use the Arrowkeystoscrolldownto“Shapele”andpress

the Enter button. The following selections are available:

No-noshapeleswillbegeneratedattheendofthejob,onlyRCDles

are stored.

Yes-shapelesandRCDlesaregenerated.

•

Prompt-theuserdeterminesifshapelesaregeneratedbeforeexiting•

the job.

Shapelesaregeneratedattheendofeachjob.Ifajobisbeingresumed,new

dataisappendedtotheendoftheoldshapeles.
